Nestled in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, you will find the NRA Whittington Center. It is the most complete and comprehensive
shooting facility in the nation. World renowned for its national and international shooting competitions, the Whittington Center is also noted for its
wonderful opportunities to hunt trophy elk, mule deer, antelope, bear, mountain lion and turkey. With gorgeous vistas and the wide spectrum of events
it accommodates, it truly is a one-of-a-kind facility. The center, a rapidly growing destination recreation site, encompasses 33,300 acres ranging
from 6,300 to 8,100 feet in elevation. You will enjoy breathtaking views, mild climate, and an array of family activities such as hiking, bird
