Leland & Ingrid Bourne retired to Huerfano County in the spring of 1997 from Colorado Springs where they had worked at City Utilities for 34 and 20 years.

Their thought was to enjoy retirement on a beautiful piece of land in the country. However, retirement wasn't ready for them. After a year of settling in and getting the house in order, they were eager to meet their neighbors. Leland helped some get their projects done and Ingrid worked at Dotter Abstract & Insurance.

     Over time, both realized a need for an office services center in Walsenburg. A place to visit for packing supplies & shipping services, photocopy machines including color, collating, book binding, laminating, and fax capabilities are available. Response has been terrific; both customers and friends have offered suggestions of other services and ideas that the Bournes are incorporating into their store. Current office hours are: Monday through Friday, 9am to 4:30pm.

    The grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony was held last November with Mayor Fred Rodriquez and KSPK broadcasting live. "It has been a wonderful experience bringing MY OFFICE together," remarks Ingrid. "We have met so many wonderful people throughout the community, and want to express our thanks to all."
