If you haven't had the opportunity to visit Aultman Hall at 137 Cedar Street, do so. The 6,000 sq. ft. ground floor of the Azar Distributing Building has been beautifully transformed into a premier event/banquet facility by the Fabec brothers.
Upon completion, the brothers were determined to name the hall after close friend and Trinidad legend, Glenn
Aultman.

Neal Spencer, Warren Puckett, Shannon Marshall, and Neil Sexton
The new owners of the building are members of Purgatoire River LLC with local partners: Geoff Peterson and Shannon Marshall, Neal and Nancy Spencer, Jay Denny, Neil Sexton, Audrey Forcier and Warren and Moji Puckett. All partners are committed to maintaining the hall in Mr. Aultman's name. In fact, they're planning a dedication ceremony in the near future.
Restoration of the hall includes a beautifully appointed maple dance floor below a tin ceiling rescued from the Santa Fe schoolhouse, period lighting, and an antique bar. A vault, original to the building, holds the
"liquid assets" to ensure enjoyment for all who are thirsty. Work has begun on the beautification of the facade with ornately carved pillars from original building timbers fashioned by local artist, Manny Sanchez.
The Azar building's spacious second story is home to
CorporateGreetings, Trinidad's first business-to-business direct marketing company, offering greeting cards for companies, as well as everything to
"communicate, motivate, educate and appreciate." The company's broad product range includes
"anything with a logo on it" says CEO Neil Sexton. CG markets both nationally and internationally, but it takes extra care of local businesses by offering special pricing. The staff at CorporateGreetings includes Purgatoire River partners Geoff Peterson as Vice President of Operations, and Warren Puckett, Vice President of Web Services and Technology. CorporateGreetings does business via its catalog, the web site and their inside sales team.
