| Over the past 18 years, Corrine Guara says it's been a pleasure to serve the many residents of Trinidad with hair care and salon services. Likewise, having the opportunity to work with several salon owners and fellow employees has given her valuable experience in the profession and allowed her to expand her knowledge, not only in hair services for men and women but also keeping up with the ever-changing styles and services requested by the public. These services include acrylic nails, manicures, pedicures, make-up, permanent make-up, waxing, facials and piercing.

After many years of hard work and persistence, Corrine has finally created a wonderful opportunity to open her own salon called Reflections now open to the public for salon and hair care services. “I would like to thank all those who helped make this possible,” remarks Corrine. “My husband David worked very hard in building and creating the studio design. Also, I'd like to thank our families for their hard work and support prior to opening.”
Twelve years ago, she had a wonderful opportunity to visit New York City and toured numerous salons and spas, creating enthusiasm and inspiration for her own shop some day. Since locating in a historical building on Commercial Street, Corrine and David decided to keep its historical appearance intact with just a few modern touches. Stop by and see for yourself. “It's always so fascinating when people come in and reminisce,” says Corrine. “People will say, I remember when this place was a liquor store or a barber shop. I love that people can remember when... and share their stories of a time since past, and to know that someday, Reflections will be a part of that history.” Why not reflect back in time?
