The Computer Cowboy will ride to your rescue. After a lightning strike ended Fred Dixon’s
career as a ranch manager, his then small computer trouble shooting and repair business finally became his primary
focus. Today, the business has grown to serve many local businesses, individuals, companies, and organizations.
However, the transition from cowboy to computer geek isn’t entirely complete — Fred still sports his Stetson hat and
embodies the traditional cowboy ideals of hard work, dedication and integrity. “Combining modern technology with
old-fashioned values may seem unusual at first glance, but the computer age is, after all, the new frontier,” remarks
Fred. If one word describes Fred Dixon, it’s tenacity. “A lot of people assume that success in this trade is completely
dependent on technical knowledge,” Fred explains. “While it’s essential, many problems require bulldog determination to
solve.” Another important element of his business is dedication to continuing education ensuring that clients are
provided with up-to-date technical knowledge amidst a rapidly changing field. |
