| As avid hunters and outdoors people, it just seemed
natural for Fred and Michele Eichler to work in the outdoor industry. Fred started an outfitting
business sixteen years ago called Fulldraw Outfitters. Today, clients are
guided
on leased properties around the Trinidad area to hunt elk, mule deer,
whitetail
deer, antelope, black bear, mountain lion, and turkey from August through
May
every year. The Eichlers have three boys ages 14, 11 and 4, who also
love the outdoor lifestyle and stay busy between school, sports, hunting and doing
their chores, which include feeding the horses, chickens, hounds, and goats. Besides
their Fulldraw Outfitters business, the couple is involved with three television
shows. Michele hosts Muzzy Bad to the Bone Bowhunting on The Outdoor Channel, and
Fred is the host of Easton Bowhunting TV on the Outdoor Channel, and Predator Nation
on The Sportsman's Channel. Additionally, Michele has worked in her family-owned
business for 25 years as CEO of Muzzy Products located in Cartersville, Georgia, and
is a member of the Archery Trade Association board of directors. She is an
accomplished bowhunter in her own right with 10 North American species and 6 African
species all harvested by bow. When Fred is not hunting or guiding hunters he splits
his time between wildlife photography and freelance writing. He's worked in the
archery industry for the last 24 years. His professional history includes working for
Bear Archery in Gainesville, Florida, managing an archery shop in northern Colorado
and working for Dart International (an interactive video archery system). |

Last August, Fred harvested a Tule Elk in California to become the first person to
complete the North American Superslam with a recurve bow by taking all 29 species of
North American big game recognized by the Pope and Young Club. Also, he has numerous
African animals to his credit with a recurve bow. A prominent outdoor writer, Fred
has written one book, "Bowhunting Western Big Game" and has been a contributor on
many other outdoor-related books. His articles and photos have appeared in Bowhunter,
Bowhunting World, North American Hunter and Traditional Bowhunter magazines.
Together, with their boys, they enjoy the great outdoors in Trinidad.
