For 20 plus years, Dr. Phil Warlick, a dentist, has
dreamed of retiring in Southern Colorado. His love for the area began as a young
boy when his family vacationed in the Cuchara Valley every summer. Now his dream
is well on its way to becoming a reality. While vacationing in Cuchara three
years ago with his wife, Terry, and another couple from their hometown of
Midland, Texas, they visited Paradise Acres, a country housing development west
of La Veta; and it was love at first sight! Phil and Terry knew this was the
place they wanted to settle permanently. They spent the following two years
building a log home and getting to know their neighbors. Folks welcomed them
with open arms by providing weekend lodging and meals during the building
process. The next step was to find a location for his dental practice. They
found that perfect place in a historic house situated in downtown Walsenburg on
south Albert Avenue. Renovations are now being completed and an opening is
scheduled for early May. Dr. Phil (as he is called by his new neighbors) will
offer a wide range of dental services for the entire family. His specialties
include the latest techniques in cosmetic and restorative dentistry as well as
orthodontics. He will utilize digital x-ray and photography to aid in the
diagnosis and treatment of all your dental needs. |
