Rock Solid Xcavating (RSX) is a family-owned excavation company operated by Brian
and LesLee Miller of La Veta, Colorado. The Millers have lived in La Veta for ten
years and have two children. During that time, Brian has worked with his father
learning the excavation business and using that knowledge and work experience to
form RSX. By December of 2008 Brian's dad retired, creating an opportunity for the
Millers to start their own operation. The Millers' motto is, "Rock solid work at
rock bottom prices." They put their heart into every job and offer a fair price.
RSX provides excavation services such as roadwork, water, sewer, septic, custom
hauling of materials, retaining walls, and snow removal.
The Millers take pride in staying current with their licensing
and certifications by attending continuing education classes yearly to help them
better understand newer technology and techniques that allow them to complete the
job and satisfy the customer. Their goal is to build an excellent reputation for
quality work and on-time delivery by maintaining high ethical standards on all promised
time lines and quality assurance guidelines. They're not happy until the customer
is happy. At RSX, customers become friends and friends become family!
Brian says, "Our family is so proud to be
part of the wonderful community in Huerfano County. We've had so much support our
first year, and for that we are grateful. We have often said Huerfano County is
the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow based on its natural beauty; and we can
honestly say now that the people who reside here are gold, too. We're happy to call
Huerfano County home and look forward to helping maintain its beauty. We have met
so many amazing people and look forward to continuing those relationships as well
