| “It's the smaller version of the Sears mall stores found in larger cities,” explains owners, John and
Nelda Gaines, with the exception of soft lines, such as clothing and linens. “In addition, we offer specialized services to contractors, new home
builders, or customers doing extensive kitchen or whole-house remodeling,” adds Nelda.

“Sears has a long tradition of serving smaller communities dating back to the company's founding 112 years ago,” says Sue Sorlien,
Vice President / General Manager, Sears Dealer Store Program. “Our goal is to re-enter these communities and provide loyal customers with quality
merchandise and a convenient shopping location. We believe the new Sears Dealer store will become the appliance and electronics superstore in southern
Colorado and northern New Mexico.”
When customers enter the store, they will recognize the Kenmore and Craftsman brands but may be surprised by other leading brands
including Maytag, GE, KitchenAid, Whirlpool, Sony, Toshiba and others. The Trinidad Sears Dealer store is one of more than 775 Authorized Retail
Dealer stores opened since 1993. Sears, Roebuck and Co. is a leading U.S. retailer with annual revenues of more than $43 billion.
John and Nelda Gaines welcome everyone to stop in, browse, or just say hello. “We're very excited to have opened a Sears store right
here in Trinidad. Local customers can expect excellent customer service, a great selection of quality merchandise with the same national pricing as
the Sears mall stores,” explains Nelda.
