March 12, 1917 - November 28, 2004
The officers, directors, and employees of The First National Bank in Trinidad
and the Eisemann family bid a fond farewell to Opal Gahm upon her passing on
November 28, 2004. Opal became the centerpiece of the Bank during her 38-year
career, advancing from bookkeeping and teller positions to loan officer and
Senior Vice President. Opal also served as a director for two decades, imparting
her first-hand experience to those who followed. Generations of customers and
co-workers benefited from her sage advice, frequently punctuated with the
familiar, cherubic laughter that came so easily to her. All who knew her will
forever remember her consistent loyalty and dedication, her unmatched ability to
cater to every whim of children and one very fortunate silver-haired poodle, and
her childlike joy when the time came to decorate the Bank for Christmas. Opal,
your warm human qualities continue to radiate and enrich all who came to know
you. Godspeed. |
