Life Tribute

In Memory Of

Mrs. Catherine G. Eisemann, President of the Republic Trinidad Corporation, the holding company for The First National Bank in Trinidad, and member of the board of directors of The First National Bank in Trinidad, passed away at her home on August 21, 2007.  Mrs. Eisemann was born on April 21, 1927 in Houston, Texas, where she lived her entire life.  She was a docent at Bayou Bend, a museum of American decorative and fine arts and was associated with various garden clubs and other social organizations. Her favorite activities included entertaining family and friends at her beach house in Galveston, Texas. She had a passion for gourmet cooking and loved to travel to exotic locales.

Mrs. Eisemann, and her late husband of 37 years, J. Ed Eisemann, III, purchased The First National Bank in Trinidad in 1960, beginning a 47-year tradition of serving the community by setting high standards in customer service and products. The Eisemann family continues to operate the bank through sons, J. Ed Eisemann, IV, CEO and Chairman of the Board, and R. Dean Eisemann, member of the Board of Directors. Together they have molded the bank into a forward-thinking organization that strives to provide traditional banking services enhanced by the conveniences of present-day technology.

Mrs. Eisemann, upon the passing of her husband in 1981, stepped up to become an active member of the Board of Directors of The First National Bank in Trinidad and president of the holding company. Her contribution is considered immeasurable, as she played a large part in making it the organization it is today. The Bank's directors, officers and employees are very grateful for her many years of service.  She will be sadly missed by family, friends, and all of us at The First National Bank in Trinidad.
